These terms govern your use of labscout.dev and describe the general terms under which LabScout ("we", "us") provides software development services. Specific engagements are governed by a written proposal or statement of work, which takes precedence over these general terms where they conflict.
Use of this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. Content on this site — text, design, and graphics — is owned by LabScout and may not be reproduced without permission, except for normal browsing and sharing links to our pages.
Services
- Service descriptions on this site are illustrative. The scope, timeline, and price of any engagement are set out in a written proposal or statement of work agreed before work begins.
- Fixed-scope engagements are delivered for the agreed fixed price. Requests outside the agreed scope are quoted separately before work proceeds.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all intellectual property in deliverables — including source code, designs, and documentation — is assigned to the client upon full payment.
Payments
Payment terms, including deposits and milestones, are specified in the proposal for each engagement. Late payments may pause scheduled work until the account is current.
Confidentiality
We treat non-public information you share during discovery and delivery as confidential and use it only to perform the engagement. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA before detailed discussions.
Warranties and liability
This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. For development services, specific warranties (if any) are stated in the written proposal. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
